Bio: I work in the Veterinary industry marketing diagnostics products. While outside of work I play my biggest role: Mom! I have a 2 year old son, Connor who is the love of my life. I also have two step children, Jack (11) and Hunter (9).
I have been competitive my whole life starting at the age of 4 - I was a competitive gymnast for 10+ years. My mom was a runner, and a run coach so naturally I started to run track. I ran for the University of Maine and with my gymnastics background I focused more on triple jump, hurdles, high jump and sprints.
I fell in love with Triathlon in 2009, although I still feel I haven't tapped into my potential. Endurance sports are definitely different than running a 400 on the track! My husband being a professional triathlete for the past 10 years has helped me focus on my mental toughness. My goal every year is to make progress from the year before.
Here is to 2018, I'm so happy to have joined this team!
